First researcher to have study the Antikythera ship.

Theotokis Theodoulou (in Greek, Θεοτόκης Θεοδούλου) is in charge of the new dive at the Antikythera wreck site (2012) from the Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities.

Albert Falco (1927-2012) was part of the Cousteau team and Captain of the Calypso.

Commander Cousteau, with his ship Calypso, surveyed the Antikythera wreck site in 1953 and then returned in 1976 for an archaeological expedition together with a team of Greek archaeologists and divers. Artefacts from the 1976 dive joined the previously discovered objects at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens.

Lefteris Tsavliris (in Greek: Λευτέρης Τσαβλίρης) participated to the Cousteau dive at the Antikythera Wreck, in 1976. Photos from his archives are being used in the "Antikythera" exhibitions.

At the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, in charge of the "Return to Antikythera" wreck survey (from 2012 to 2016), a project of the Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities initiated by Aggeliki Simossi.
