Michel Blumenthal

Michel Blumenthal is an engineer at the R&D department of Hublot watchmaking manufacture. He started his involvement with the Antikythera Mechanism by creating gear diagrams with Yanis Bitsakis for the article of Michael Wright, "The Antikythera Mechanism: Compound Gear-Trains for Planetary Indications". Together with Mathias Buttet and Yanis Bitsakis, he is designing an underwater drone that will assist the archaeologists in the "Return to Antikythera" expedition.

Eleni Kladaki-Vratsanou

Eleni Kladaki-Vratsanou (in Greek: Ελένη Κλαδάκη-Βρατσάνου) is an engineer of Symian origin, former secretary of the Society of Friends of the National Archaeological Museum. She complied the first reliable list of the initial crew that did the first dive in Antikythera.

Roger Hadland

Owner of X-Tek Systems (now Nikon Metrology), he designed the "Blade Runner", a special X-ray tomography device that was brought to the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, in 2005, in order to scan the fragments of the Antikythera Mechanism.

Francis Nimal

One of the greatest fans of the Antikythera Mechanism. Francis Nimal is a French retired engineer, sceptic since he read an article about the "Machine d' Anticythère" in "Science et Vie" (1959). Since then, he is convinced that the Antikythera Mechanism is a fake, not an ancient device, but build around the 17th century. His persistence and the answers to some of his useful questioning allow researchers to firmly establish the fact that the Mechanism is a genuine Hellenistic device.
